Here we are at Red Cliffs, near Mildura in Victoria for the dog trials on the week end.
From the pic, you can see the back of the van has a slight modification. Look carefully at the high lit area at the bottom of the van and you will see three bits of steel tube sticking out. That was where the rear bumper bar and spare wheel were attached, until we went over a level crossing, which was not so level, and the jolt caused the weld to break, allowing the bumper bar and spare wheel to fall on the ground and get dragged behind us. We ripped the bar off, stuck it in the back of the ute and continued on to the caravan park.
I used the singular form "weld" deliberately, because of the three tubes holding the bumper bar together, only one actually had a genuine weld, the rest were just ornamental. It is amazing that the spare wheel and bumper bar had not fallen off thousands of kilometres ago.
